Stephanie Dodd


Originally from Nebraska, Stephanie Dodd is a writer, aerialist, actor and musician recently relocated from NYC to Boulder, CO.  She has performed at Shakespeare & Company, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Ars Nova, Joe’s Pub, Bowery Poetry Club, Dixon Place, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Club Oberon at ART, Aquila Shakespeare, 59E59, Stonington Opera House, Irondale Center, Southwest Shakespeare, Summer Theatre of New Canaan, Queens Theatre in the Park, Nebraska Rep and others. 

Her play Hollow received two workshops at Dixon Place and readings in Stonington ME, at Abingdon Theatre in NYC, and at TASIS in Lugano, Switzerland.   

Devil in the Hole, her aerial country rock musical co-written with Justin Badger, played at Dixon Place and The Sky Box in Brooklyn.  The project was a finalist for the Resident Artist Program at Mabou Mines.  

Stephanie's 10-minute play, The Black Bride of Texas, won an Audience Favorite Award at the Durango Arts 10-Minute Play Festival and was produced there.  

She is a teaching artist, member of the Americana duo, The Fremonts, company member of the Innovative Theatre Award winning Conni's Avant Garde Restaurant and co-writer of two cabarets, Welcome Home, Hamlet! and Congratulations, Macbeth! While living in NYC, Stephanie also taught weekly aerial silks classes with Westchester Circus Arts.
